In order to avoid the payment of undeclared salary or for amounts lower than collective minimum wages, the draft law introducing mandatory traceability of salaries paid to employees, collaborators and associates of cooperative companies has passed approval by the Chamber of deputies and is now under scrutiny at the Senate.

Employers will be required to pay via wire transfer, with cash at a bank or post office or with a check handed directly to the employee. In case of violation of said obligations, administrative fines ranging from € 5.000 to € 50.000 will be applicable.
